oel Anthony Barrett, aka Jo-L, started his music career at the age of 12, writing common poetry and raps in a composition notebook. Advancing in his career, Jo-L linked up with his brother and friend to form a label called Ampafire. Through this music group, he polished his skills as a writer and formed the character known as Jo-L. In high school, Boogie and his friends created a group called PMP. Now, at 23 years of age, Jo-L is preparing himself for his first project as an artist. The project is called A.W.O.L and its set to drop late 2017. Joe Boogie has also expanded his music to the world of EDM and House music. An Electronic/ EDM album is set to release summer of 2018. This single Live Your Life is a sample of of the good vibrations coming from Jo-L and features an up and coming talent in R&B, Adonis
