简介
Squala Orphan kicks off his second official solo album "If Eye Live Could Again"! This project sticks to the formula. It features the original lineup of producers from his debut: Nitro, Drone and Sebb. Squala embraces the audience with an elevating masterpiece, expressing how it would feel to live again. Look out for the debut of Mama Walbuk$' own Drezzo Intermezzo, who raps over a smooth Erick Sermon beat. Also check out the first video "Won't Leave These Street Alone" featuring a heart felt performance by new Harlem rap star Nicolette. "If Eye Could Live Again" draws inspiration from Jazz greats David Murray and Milford Graves. In fact, Professor Grave's student Jon Grusauskas of the band Lespecial plays multiple instruments on "Strolling Through My Veins". On the vocal tip, Karen Marie Richardson adds her soulful singing to several standout tracks. Throughout the album Squala works with several other great artists, including DJ Boogie Blind, Afu Ra, Sa-Roc, Sparkz, Ab Bueller, LC the Poet, and Soulebrity — while newcomers The Riddlah and Manuel Silva prove that they are producers to watch for in 2013. All in all, If Eye Could Live Again is a must-have collector's item.
