This collection represents my fascination with multitrack recording over four decades. As a teenager, back in the mid 1980’s, I saved up all my money earned from mowing lawns and shoveling snow to purchase a four-track recorder from the local music store for about $600, which was a good chunk of money at the time. I had always enjoyed composing songs, but now, with this four-track, I was able to lay down my ideas. Over the years, I continued to create songs, upgrading to more advanced recording equipment over the years. While I always was interested in sharing my music, the technology of the 1980s and 1990s did not make that easy. The Internet changed all that, and so I began the effort of digitizing the older songs, and collecting some of the new songs together to share a collection. For each of the 27 songs, I wrote the, sang every word, and played every note that you hear. My primary influences were The Beatles, The Who, Boston, The Doors, and Jimi Hendrix. However, I also have been influenced by Jazz, Country, and other genres. I am grateful that technology has evolved to allow me to share the collection, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
