Anthony first picked up a guitar at the age of 5. Influenced by one of St. Louis’s most talented guitarist Tony Hines (Father) “I learned a lot by just listening and watching his fingers move. I analyzed constantly as a kid while he played. I was more eager to learn vibrato and soloing. He taught me little repetitious patterns which I practiced daily about 3 hrs every day. One day something clicked in my brain and my hands started playing what I heard in my mind. Everything seemed to work seamlessly. I have to believe it’s from the constant drive and mindset to mimic or distinguish a style that mirrors some of my most favorable guitarists.” Anthony became extremely focused on creating his own style and technique. Listening and learning from his favorites (Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Gary Howe, etc.) After years of practice and determination, Anthony began to write original material while playing in cover bands, immersing himself in all facets of creating music, live performance and recording. 2011 Anthony released his Self-Titled Original Album and took a position on a cruise line as a Solo Guitarist, traveling the world for 2 years, Anthony found himself still chasing his dream and exploring new opportunities, meeting people from around the world, establishing new long lasting friendships but soon realized this wonderful chapter in his career was not the final destination Taking a major step forward Anthony returned to St. Louis. He is currently performing full time as an acoustic solo. Anthony has signed a Management and Development agreement with Planet Ear Candy and will be releasing a new CD in 2015
