Beat The Clock is the first record of the Portuguese band Fulltrack. This 5 track album delivers a strong modern Rock sound yet very diverse due to its many influences borrowed from other genres from Punk to Metal. As cleverly depicted on the album art work, by artist Werupz, the central theme of Beat The Clock is modern civilization and the urgency for mankind to change its ways. The opening track “War” as well as “Wake Up” and “Scream” very explicitly approach relevant issues like the power of money and war. These are balanced by the more upbeat and lighthearted compositions of “Sweet Lime” and “Cosmic Love”.
