Rhode Island native's A-God & Knuckle Up Productions met in 2015 and immediately began to build musically. After they heard how complimentary A-God's crisp flow and Knuckle Up's classic boombap was, they knew a collaboration was in order. Interview With A God takes you through a wide variety of idea and sound. The inner workings of this emcees mind as well as society in general are picked apart and carefully laced over several styles of Knuckle Up's unique brand of boombap. "We wanted this tape to make y'all question yourself and everything around you, without losing your head nod". Their first single "Contemplations" takes you through different perspectives of lifes misfortunes while the emcee attempts to make sense of it all with honesty. They plan to release multiple singles off of the project and continue work together into the future.
