"Cascades" is Tommy Countach’s second single from his upcoming debut EP. The track is a captivating genre mix of Italo disco and trance, blending sounds from the transition period between the late 80s and early 90s, while also giving it a modern touch. It features a vocal build leading into an anthemic trance synth hook followed by a percussive breakdown with typical cold new wave sounds, seamlessly blending all genres. Although being electronic music, Tommy put all the hardware synths in his studio to work to give it an authentic analog and lively feel, adding his emotional voice on top. Imagine it like a band going into the studio; the song was created during a live set and then recorded on various analog instruments, rather than produced with a mouse and computer. "Cascades" will take you on a journey through many layers of musical eras but will always keep flowing and thus keep you moving.
