In this life there are people who have been placed in prison because they made a bad choice to break the law and lost their freedom and are confined, bound, chained and shackled. But there is another kind of imprisonment, which is in the mind. So many people are facing this battle each day and it is not physical, but emotional and mental. Their lives have become overshadowed by fears, doubts, bitterness, hate, envy, strife, regrets, scars from abuse, low self-esteem, addictions and personal sorrows to the point that they are stuck and cannot break loose. Therefore, they are in bondage, and imprisoned to their own hurts and pains. This kind of captivity can be harder to shake than physical incarceration because it can hinder an individual from achieving their goals and stop their purpose as well as prevent them from reaching their destiny. Delivered to Serve is about being free in your heart, spirit and mind to live the purpose of God for your life. When your life has been affected by negative emotions and thoughts, you become subjected to a form of imprisonment that can and will hinder you from achieving your personal goals and desires, but more importantly your godly purpose and destiny. This music is about becoming totally free to serve no matter what your heritage or background or what mistakes or sins you have committed. There is forgiveness and deliverance through the Son of God, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Jesus said in Matthew 20:28, "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." Thus, so should we be like minded. We must be totally free in order to serve those that God has ordained for us to touch in this life. The Apostles in Acts, Chapter 5, were released by those who had bound, shackled, chained and confined them and commanded them to not speak about that Jesus. But they refused to stop telling others about the One who had delivered them indeed. The Apostles knew that they were not just released physically but free in their mind, spirit and soul to serve their Saviour for the salvation of those who were lost. When a person experiences a complete deliverance, there is no manner of trials, troubles or mistreatment that will prevent them from serving the Son of God who paid it all for them.
