B. Parker is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Parker is a singer/songwriter/producer who is currently working on his debut album. Beginning his promotions with “Friend Zone,” this up-tempo song is sure to be stuck in anyone’s head after the first thirty seconds. B. Parker’s influences include: Alicia Key, John Legend, Luther Vandross, Al Green and Musiq Soulchild. A soul filled artist indeed, each time B. Parker opens his mouth to sing, no matter the occasion, those around are in for a treat.

“Friend Zone” takes on a sensitive topic that has been around for decades. It is the point when one person has fallen for someone, but the other person does not share the same, mutual interest. Instead of being mean and disrespectful, the party offers friendship in place of the unrequited love. B. Parker declares on behalf of all of those who have been in his shoes: “I’ve got enough friends, I don’t want no more, what I want is you!” Riding the thumping base, B. Parker chants, pleas, and demands all in one to be let out of the “Friend Zone.”
