Joy Clark was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. The first track entitled Bmore is a song for her city. This track was originally recorded for Fuzion Radio Mixtape; using the instrumental from the song, Over by Drake, but was later produced by Mario V and given an original composition. The second track entitled Freedom Bells was recorded 2009 in Virginia and rerecorded for the EP Project in 2010. This instrumental is by producer Low Key, who had recently moved to VA in 2009 and started working with Joy. While attending Liberty University, Joy lyrically explains her journey and testimony through Freedom Bells. The third track is entitled Dream Chaser, composed by Michael Scherer of Dream Vizion Productions in Illinois. Combining Joy’s lyrics with his fresh sound is amazing and inspirational. Joy’s focus for this track was to drive each and everybody to chase their dreams. Inspiration also came after hearing the lyrics to the song Successful by Trey Songz, he sings “Tryna find a way but u never got a map / Dream chaser, risk taker/ No favor, though haters / They might want me to drown / Holdin' me down.” The fourth track is definitely a dance song. Joy sings “Play my song/ all night long/ I don’t care/ where you from/ east coast/ west coast/ Play my song/ all night long/” This will get everyone to do exactly what she says and that is “play my song.” This instrumental is produced by Mario V who resides in Romania. The fifth track is entitled WNBA. Growing up, Joy played basketball from the age of 9 with community teams, AAU, and later for Woodlawn High School Girls Varsity Team. Joy Reminisces and also shows much love to female basketball players in the WNBA. Joy states “Playing for the WNBA, was a dream of mine until I realized I wasn't going to be any taller. (lol) But I can still play my role and I think it’s time for the WNBA to have more attention and more promotion, girls can ball too.” This track was also produced by Mario V. The entire Album - Dream Chaser- is set to release December 2010.
