Unorthodox Methods is an independent music act formed by singer-songwriter Poeina Suddarth and guitarist-producer Rodrigo Madero in March of 2012.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, UXM combines a unique sound of trip-hop, folk, rock and pop influence; hailing influences from Ellie Goulding, Nine inch nails, Led Zeppelin, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Imogen Heap & more. Rodrigo placed an ad on Craigslist, found singer-songwriter Poeina Suddarth and together they are Unorthodox Methods.
