This composite of songs was written during a hiatus from the desert, about 6 years ago in Central California; located at the base of the High Sierra mountains in the rolling foothills. We were living in a trailer we liked to call The Moon Ranchero. It was next to a horse and cattle ranch owned by Todd Rutherford’s grandparents. These songs never made it onto Music to Start a Cult to, Cultivation or Radio Angel but we felt our fans would enjoy adding them to their Gram Rabbit library. They are slightly retouched home recordings; therefore containing some lo-fi characteristics, but could be the perfect aural companion on a dark, stormy night! Two of the songs are instrumentals, another done in French with a questionable accent. Orange You Glad was inspired by the surrounding orange groves and undeniable sunshine. Patrolled by Witchcraft a long and creepy journey thru a night of unexplained phenomenon and Hot Pink Hawaii has been a crowd favorite at GR shows for the past few years. So strap yourself in and take a trip back in time with your favorite rabbits as we twist your mind.
