A new band, Charlotta, releases it's first CD, titled "Faithful Friend". Lead singer, Thea Bakker, has been singing and playing in bands all her life. She is a singer/songwriter, who heads the worship team in the church led by her husband, Eddie. (Christengemeinde Nordhorn) After several projects in Germany and Holland, she her co-writer, Timon Uilenberg, combined their skills and produced the songs recorded on this live CD. The music genre could be described as religious pop rock. The theme of this live CD is "experiencing God's grace in live concert", reflects the Christian background of the band. Listening to the lyrics and arrangements that point to God giving meaning to our lives, one thing becomes clear: religion doesn't need to be boring!
