I grew up during the great folk scare and my music reflects this. It is by turns funny, irreverent, literate and occasionally educational or even sensitive. Topics include whatever catches my interest or hits my funny bone - the Darwin Awards or ads on Craig's List would be examples. "War on Women" is a protest song which I was driven to write during the 2012 Congressional session. It's more dirge-like than expected, but the message is there.
