In the winter of 2005, after 3 blissfully difficult years living and traveling in a van together, performing everywhere from rock clubs and dive bars to college campuses, coffee shops and record stores, a Scotsman, a Chicago native and 2 dudes from the NY suburbs got together for a one-time opportunity to record in the famed Studio B at Sony Studios NYC. Over the years, Studio B had hosted recording sessions for artists both iconic and up-and-coming, inlcuding the sessions for the recording of Springsteen's seminal "Born To Run."

Lucky enough to have an "in" with one of the in-house engineers, these 4 kids were going to have 20 hours to plug in, dig in and try to capture enough magic in their recording to score the record deal they had logged thousands of road miles chasing. This is what they captured. They were The Readyset.
