DJ, MC, Producer and Artist, Chuck Bernard is a multi-talented star on the rise born in Montreal, Canada. Inspired by performers such as MSTKRFT, Justice, Axwell, Kaskade and many others, Charles has made his way into the music industry by incorporating his different musical abilities in his production. Being a self-thought drummer, guitarist, pianist and bassist, Chuck Bernard adapted his mixing and music production to his already acquired musical knowledge creating his unique melodic sound. Music has always been a passion for Charles. Very young, he couldn't stop goofing around on his dad's piano, creating melodies and trying to reproduce songs he heard playing on the family stereo player. From disco to new age, rap to punk, electronic to pop; Charles loved it. It didn't take long for Charles' parents to realize his love for music, so they paid him piano lessons, which he took for a year or two, just enough for him to earn a first place in a local band contest. He then switched to drums, and quickly developed his rhythmic abilities. Realizing his passion for music, Charles decided to share it with two high school schoolmates, forming a Hardcore/Punk band called Indeed We Resign. Along the way, he learnt to play guitar by simply plucking for countless hours with the devotion of mastering the instrument. Then came electronic music. Along the years, Charles stacked up money and presents to built his little recording studio in his basement, adding more and more instruments and recording equipment, but one thing made Charles curious: Electronic music. That's when Charles started to explore the Dj'ing world. At 16, he joined a little local Dj company in which he played a role assembling Dj and lighting setups for events such as weddings, corporate events and parties. He quickly learned how to mix music. He then organized his own events and parties with friends in which he was the Dj himself. One party in particular, he and a friend filled a local community room, creating a buzz in local high schools and colleges. The party was a big enough success to interest a Montreal club manager, who offered him a job as a contractual Dj in his club. Dj'ing wasn't enough. Charles had always been a musician and felt like mixing music alone didn't satisfy his needs in terms of music creation. That's when Charles started producing. With the help of producer friends, he quickly learnt the basics of production. His musical instrument skills coming handy, he started creating his own tracks and beats, sampling himself playing his instruments while incorporating software synthesizers. Rap beats, rock tracks, pop songs, electro and house music, you name it, he did it.. It didn't take long for Charles to get noticed. His tracks made such a buzz that nkase's tracks got picked up by Montreal renowned Dj and Virgin radio host MC Mario. Even international Djs such as Ian Carey, Laidback Luke and DADA LIFE gave Chuck excellent feedback regarding his tracks.
