As a follow up to my 2005 record, "Justice", I wanted to write and record a couple more tribute songs, but I also wanted to rock out a bit with songs like "Come Take My Hand", and "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love". As on "Justice", I performed all the vocals, played all the instruments, and recorded "Voice of Freedom" myself at my home studio in Mccomb, Ms. A couple of local sound engineers told me I was full of it when I told them I did this record myself at home! In a funny way, I guess it was a compliment. Eric Howse, a talented guitar player, and in his own right, a gifted songwriter, added some rhythum guitar on "Can't Get Enough", and did a heck of a job. One of the first songs I ever wrote, "Voice of Freedom" is the title track on this record. After all the songs I have written and recorded, I still feel that this song stands out as one of my best.
