From the morning Shane opened the box to his new recording equipment on July 4, 2006, he was inspired to immediately record his guitar and worship the Lord. By the time Sandy Powell arrived later that day, he was ready for her to join him at the microphone! In a mere few hours, the first five cuts of this CD were born: "Psalm 3 (Andie's Song)", "Healing Song", "Seek Ye My Face", "Psalm 40", and "Holy, Holy, Holy". In the same few hours of the night's spontaneous worship, Sandy was miraculously healed from years of severe vocal cord damage. Her dramatic healing was the divine beginning of a special bond and partnership in worship, with many lives touched and healed since then. Later, "David's Offering" came out of a 60 minute guitar recording initially called, "Flying." The shorter piece was edited for a television special Sandy and Shane were a part of, called "Prophet's Rising." "Be Glorified" was recently recorded on top of 10 minutes of drum worship played in 2007. "Infatuated" poured out of Shane's heart really quick when he sat down at the piano one day in the PowerHouse Ministries’ Worship Room. "Love Never Fails" came while he was sitting on the porch with a group of friends gazing up at the stars, and God. "You Are Holy" is his favorite song he's ever written … just after he told the Lord he was done. It has been amazing how God has used "You Saw Me" to encourage so many people, and bring healing to the brokenhearted. Shane grew up knowing the Lord, but fell in love with Him in a hidden grove of trees where no one was looking, except his Beloved. The Lord met him there daily for years. He pursued His face until he felt His kiss on top of his head. These songs and sounds were birthed out of that place of intimacy; moments that changed his life.
