A Caribbean recording artiste,who fuses pop,dance hall and reggae music. Aschadan is also a gifted sound engineer, music writer and business student. Born, Aschadan Duplessis, from Cedar Heights, Vieux- Fort, Saint Lucia West Indies. Aschadan was Introduced to music from a very young age, by an older brother, who performed locally at stage shows. After a succession of musical singles, consistent local airplay, the demand for the artist soared, thus eventually paved the way to performances at major stage shows. Aschadan performs both home and abroad, and has shared stages with the likes of Jah Cure, Mr Vegas, Allison Hinds, Sherwin Winchester and Gyptian, just to name a few. In 2008, Aschadan launched the release of his debut music video entitled"Legacies," which had great success, locally and regionally. Legacies was a song and musical video tribute, dedicated to the life of the artist's late father, who died mid 2007. The video and track success was evident, as it made its way to Former MTV station Tempo's Top 10 Charts and aired on several Caribbean and U S Stations. In 2010, Aschadan was contracted by US based Label, Carib Music Group and in 2012 was signed to a two (2) year Licensing deal with John Luongo Entertainment, an International licensing company based in the U S. Aschadan has since launched several musical videos and continues to flood air waves with consistent releases. In December of 2014, Aschadan launched the much anticipated debut album "Like Tsunami" locally. "Like Tsunami" is a seventeen (17) track, dance hall and slightly pop fused album, produced by Cedar Productionz, in St Lucia West Indies and now international fans of Aschadan, can purchase the full album, since launched officially in March of 2015 Currently, there is a big buzz about Aschadan, so this is certainly an Artiste to keep a lookout for !!!
