Bluesy meanderings on mandolin, slide guitar, flutes and whistles bring a new flavor to Celtic inspired music. With vocals on only one song (Island), Thistle is a sonic landscape painted with bold strokes. The title track and Samurai Cosmonaut take a journey into visual realms, while tracks like Mulled Wine and Mockingbird take a more progressive folk approach.
