Naomie "Ngozi" Grandison is a singer/songwriter from the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. She has received several national awards for her artistic achievements, along with working with industry professionals in LA. Naomie has been instrumental in developing the artistic, health and social landscape of her homeland as co-founder of various platforms such as Headphunk and the Wellness Innovator's I Am Beautiful School Campaign. This multitalented songstress has dabbled in neo-soul, alternative, reggae and calypso genres. She says, "I feel like a seed has been planted in my heart and it has been germinating and now growing stronger. A seed of desire to share my understanding and knowledge and at the same time receive the same from others". I found I have a talent to sing and stumbled upon my ability to write also and it has been gratifying". Naomie also indicated that her struggles in life and experience working in the health field has nurtured a certain amount of social consciousness and self determination and finds these themes naturally emerge in her music. She says that she feels connected to a Divine Source that intricately uses her as a creative outlet. "Very little credit goes to me!", she says. "A lot of the time I write to help me deal with my emotions, to empathize or to take my mind of pressures. It is wonderful to feel others connect with what I write and sing"
