Eleanor Whitledge does her best Debbie Harry impersonation while spouting ear-catching, occasionally vulgar, boy-crazy lyrics against a backdrop of three-chord grinding guitars. Despite the "did she really just say that?" lyrics, the album falls into a rut of heavy bar rock mediocrity that never really gives the listener enough breadth to hold on to. The one exception is "One Kiss Left," a well-crafted marriage of head-bobbing raw energy and throaty vocals. The album ends with a meandering spoken word-type piece, "Cut the Rug," that kills any sort of vibe that was created by the first 11 songs.
