Tamar Lewis is a singer songwriter (folk/pop) from the Netherlands.This young woman from the rainy north writes music that makes you feel like you're underneath a soft blanket, while time's on your side. Her voice is warm and soothing. Her songs are sincere, intense and lively. In 2010 Tamar Lewis won the singer/songwriters contest de Nootuitgang in Groningen (NL) and was chosen as one of the finalists of the Grote Prijs van Nederland to perform live at Paradiso Amsterdam, also in 2010. Her first EP Canvas was released in 2012. Louis Sparre's First Snow inspired the Dutch singer songwriter Tamar Lewis to write the folk/pop song 'Like Snow' (2013) for the occasion of the exhibition entitled Nordic Art 1880 - 1920 in the Groninger Museum, The Netherlands.
