All songs written by Darrell P. Arnold. © All rights reserved. "Fish Out of Water" is a digital release, produced by Klaus Marner in Elk Studios, Koeln Duetz. It features Darrell on lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Guido Lehmann on lead guitars and background vocals; Sven Frannsen on bass; and Klaus Marner on drums and percussion. All songs here were written by Darrell P. Arnold and arranged by him together with the band. "Fish Out of Water" was from the last part of Darrell's 14 years in Germany. While there in the 1990s and early 2000s, Darrell played and recorded with two bands, Darrell Arnold and the Dead Buffaloes, and Darrell Arnold and the Buffalo Fish. With the Dead Buffaloes, Darrell worked into the German club scene and played as opening act for Canned Heat, Eric Burdon and the New Animals and did two tours of The Yardbirds. In 2002, with that band, he won a German national prize for CD production of the Year with the German Pop and Rock Music Association for his CD, Everyday Stories. That CD was produced by Darrell, the band, as well as Hendrik Shaper (of Udo Lindenburg's Panik Orchester) and Klaus Bohlman in Camilion Studios, Hamburg. Darrell now lives in Surfside, FL (in the Miami metro area), where he regularly plays his own material with the support of various excellent South Florida musicians. Those who like Fish Out of Water will be happy to know that Darrell has just returned to studio to record new songs and new arrangements with the Miami musicians Jack Shawde, Diane Ward, Matthew Sabatella, and Max Farber.
