Musician, mixer, producer, sound designer, writer, constructor of automated percussion systems, Richard Conning aka Rico has worked in many disciplines over his 40 year career. He began as a musician with his band The Lines in the late 70s. His work with William Orbit and Laurie Mayer in band Torch Song and other projects stretches from the early 80s to the present. His client list as a mixer and producer includes Laibach, Swans, Coil, Wire, Pere Ubu, Depeche Mode. In all of that time Rico never released a solo album, preferring to collaborate with others. Now however he has decided to release Frogmore, a deeply personal suite of compositions which he calls "an autobiographical tone poem".
