Cascades are a young, alternative rock band from Brighton, England. Formed in 2013, they are set to release their second EP 'In The Dark' in the Spring of 2016. Despite an average age of just 16, they boast the technical ability of bands twice their age. Their influences range from Jimi Hendrix, to Miles Davis, to Kendrick Lamar, meaning that their own compositions are varied and interesting. A local music promotion company 'Brighton Collective' described their previous single 'What Have You Done To Me?' as "an emotional and buoyant song, with extravagant drumming and soothing, yearning vocals. Half like floating above the sea and half an intrepid trip through the jungle, how a song this busy can be so calming is strikingly unique."
