Bandleader Mohammed Kalifa Kamara has toured the world playing the African music he learned from his home in Guinea West Africa. In this project Kalifa has built an incredible ensemble to outline the core West African Rhythms with tons of melody and a western world appeal. The songs are mostly based on authentic African rhythms and sung in the native tongue from the area with some great American funk to round out the package. The band has horns, guitars, bass, drums, keyboard, backing vocals and enough percussion to be it's own band. This is a big production and took years to develop. The results are definetly worth all the hard work.
