Here's how it all went down: On May 7th, the Luzerne County Brewers - The LCB and other craft brewers met at Simply Homebrew in Drums PA to brew six new beers: Bourbon & Brass Devil’s Trail Bittersweet Altered Ego Crafty Racket Nola Nights Other beers were brewed by participating breweries and homebrew clubs: Mr. Invisible by Beaver Run Brewing Homebrew Club Sex and Politics by Black Owl Brewing Co. The Great Divide by ShawneeCraft Brewing Co. During the event nine musicians recorded songs based on these beers: Aaron Fink Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen Ed Randazzo Michi MIME TRIBES GillaWatts Jung Bergo The Mighty Susquehannas Tony Halchak Music Finally, nine artists created labels for the beer as well. One month later, on June 18th, the beers were released as free samples, the music was released on an album, and the artwork was on display. All money raised during the event was donated to the ThinkBIG Pediatric Cancer Fund. The event will included music from all of the musicians involved in this year's Brew Sessions. www.brewsessions.net
