简介

I was at low point in my life when I fell in love with hip hop/gangsta rap. I fell in love with Tupac because i was able to lose myself into his lyrics, coming from a broken home and trying to fit in with society I idolized him and try to imitate his style. As I got deeper and deeper into Tupacs music I started writing my feelings down to his beats and songs. As time went on I got into freestyling and writing more. I told myself that i wanted to be like Pac and give people hope in my lyrics. As time went on I went into a deeper darker state of mind which led me to cling on to Dmx style. I became a fan and started imitating him as well freestyling with my friends and writing darker music. In every song that I wrote it put my life on paper because thats what my favorite rappers were doing/ did. As time went on with pursuing this dream of wanting to be like Dmx and Tupac,( to be able to make music that could relate with someone else that was going through what I was going through) I started losing myself in life. I became reckless with just about everything in life, until the day that I found out that my girlfriend at the time (now my wife) was pregnant. I knew at that moment that I had to change my life, which lead me to meeting one of my best friends today. He proceeded to talk to me about Jesus, of course I payed him no mind until he let me listened to this Christian rapper by the name Lecare. I fell in love with the song he played for me but instead of giving me Lecrae's album he gave me Da T.R.U.T.H. album. Which started changing my life internally, and made me start wondering more what this Jesus was about. So I started listening to Da T.R.U.T.H., Lecrae, Flame and Cross Movement. Listening to these rappers made me realized that I was living life wrong and started seeing that I was able to relate to them through music as well. I eventually got saved in March 2007 and was talking to my best friend about rapping for the Lord. He told me to pray on it to see if it was a true gift from God, so I did and months later I came up with a song called " Who's Murder is That?" Performed it at a youth conference and made a few more songs and started performing at a few churches. While all this was happening pride came in and I lost focus of the mission and vision on why I got into hip hop. I felt like I made it, when all of the sudden everything started crumbling down. I started feeling hatred towards my church home for an incident that happen, but I never lost focus on God. Years went on, I continued to write music and continue to do freestyles, but I couldn't get anyone to agree to do music with me. Finally one day at work I met a gentlemen (which is one of my best friends now) and got into talking about music, favorite Christian rappers ect... We ended up discovering we had a lot in common. So we came into agreement to do music together for The Lord, he started teaching himself to make beats little by little and he started pushing me to get focus again on my mission. So after deep thought and prayer I started focusing more on what I wanted to express in my music. So we made 'The Countdown" mixtape which contained a lot of my personal feelings in my life. Some of my history of my life as well, after the release of that mixtape I lost my way as well and lost focus on music in general once again. It wasn't until I started going back to church and got deep into the word of God again that I started falling in love with music again. So I started praying again if this was the platform That God wanted for me, which leads to today. I now write music based on my life struggles from the past and current situation, every song is Christ centered and heartfelt. I do this with the same intentions I had when I first started writing to Tupacs song, but with a different twist. I write with the intentions of the listener to be able to relate with my life, but to be able to learn from my mistakes in life. I write to be a hope, to be an influence, an inspiration, a life changer, like all my favorite rapper did for me before being saved and after.
