For a long time, I wrote only piano solo work, as piano was my primary instrument. After that, I branched out into small chamber work. Recently, I decided that I needed to get out of my comfort zone: I wanted to experiment, I wanted to play with instruments I wasn't that familiar with. I researched and experimented, and composed some solo instrument works I was quite proud of. I knew I wanted to feature these songs somewhere, I wanted to have them recorded by professionals who would make my pieces sing. Thus came the creation of this album. Afterwards I added small chamber works that completed my solo pieces nicely.
