At the age of five, Margareta did her first public performance at a Red Cross Christmas Party in her home town of Tångaberg, outside Varberg, Sweden. Since then she has appeared throughout Europe and in the U.S.A. Audiences include Robert De Niro, Paul McCartney, Tony Curtis, Tom Jones, Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen, Warren Beatty, Michael Bolton, Shakira... During 1999 and 2000 Margareta was sought after to open all the new resort-and casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada. Newspapers wrote"Jackpot in Las Vegas". In 2001 a contract was offered at the famous Polo Lounge, Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles, which since then has been her base. In 1997 Margareta was the youngest artist ever to be voted into the prestigious Stallfåglarna, a Swedish organization for women in entertainment. Margareta Svensson can be seen performing her own show, "Las Vegas Glitter - Hollywood Glamour". She also does appearances with Top 40 groups and concerts showcasing her original material, as well as engagements as a solo singer/pianist or instrumental pianist, and her programs with traditional Swedish songs and poetry are very popular.
