Since 1945, Germany is ruled by a federal government. Each state or Länder has its own military music tradition. In this album you can listen to the traditional military marches of the different german states which are played by the Heeresmusikkorps 1 conducted by Wilhelm Stephan who was the General Inspector of the federal german military bands during the sixties. This is a very rare recording.
