"Last Transmission From Sector 7" (the 3rd album from Houston alternative/leftfield/experimental music artist & producer Arc Rev One) is even weirder, stranger, & more quirky than its predecessors. Arc Rev One journeys through twisted electronic soundscapes and conjures storms of sonic chaos with his indie moxy. LoFi Electronic that you can dance to... errr sometimes* So diverse, you never know what to expect. Often funky, sometimes hectic and wild and even a bit mellow at some points. And there are some absolute gems in there. I particularly enjoyed Ecstatic Data (for its sound design), Hyper Space Revisited (kind of reminds me of Clark), Great Galactic Central Sun (man, that guitar riff is so funky), Houston We're Losing Contact (man, did you really sample a metronome? haha)...but my favorite tune has to be Stage 3 Exp! - Davodintei Swedish Music Blog, Ghost FM, writes: "The album swims on different wavelengths and depths, but “Silent Rage” is where the chaos hits a sweet pinnacle. It inherits a playful kind of blues, but not the King Solomon Hill type, not the Reverend Gary Davis type and not even close to the early Black Keys days. “Silent Rage” blues is more of a Jon Spencer Blues Explosion kind blended into a sludgy Front Line Assembly bubble gum.
