Within, Rabbi Menachem Creditor's first solo album, features four original songs by Creditor and the debut recording of “V’asu,” a song that the late composer Debbie Friedman wrote for the 2005 dedication of the synagogue Netivot Shalom in Berkeley. The overarching theme this folk-influenced album is the Jewish teaching that a relationship with God begins by looking someone else in the eye. Performers on the recording include Liz Creditor, Cantor Jennie Chabon, Julie Batz and Rabbi Stuart Kelman.
