简介
All of the hip hop artists on this compilation album were invited by Phatbrim in January, 2010 to join the collective group of artists that would eventually contribute to a Wisconsin charity hip hop compilation album organized and put out by Phatbrim and his record label, Tax Parade Records LLC, an independent hip hop label out of Madison, WI. This has been an idea of Phatbrim's for 6 years - to have an album that displays all of the many talented artists from Wisconsin that continually contribute to the genre of hip hop in the state and outside of it. Here is the list of artists on the album, including producers, in order of their appearance: JB Ill, Flip Philmore, The Fall Guys, Mic Virus, AD of The Crest, Skooly, Derill Pounds, APM, Dylan Thomas, Prhym8, Phatbrim, Isodynamics, Jolly Taxpayer, DJ Pain1, Figureheads, Prhym8, KingHellBastard, Wes Restless, Reason, The Active Ingredients, Lodoublet & muddy puddles, dumate, Man Mantis, Phatbrim, PapaSquatts, The Jackal, JB Ill, Dana Coppafeel, Michael Mic Check, Trellmatic, Jesse Spawn, Phatbrim, DOdoubleNY, Bufus Wood, Rob Dz, L.O.S.T. CARE was founded in 1945 to provide relief to survivors of World War II. CARE is one of world’s largest private international humanitarian organizations and is currently assisting Haitian survivors in Port-Au-Prince. We will be directly donating to the Haiti Emergency Response Fund established by CARE. You can read more about this organization’s efforts: "CARE is continuing to rush aid and emergency team members to Haiti following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the impoverished country on Tuesday, January 12. The capital city is in ruins. Most of the buildings have collapsed, including hospitals, homes and schools. Approximately 3 million people have been affected by the disaster. Estimates of the dead range from 50,000-200,000 people, and many more have lost their homes in the most powerful quake ever recorded in the country – the poorest in the Western Hemisphere. CARE has nearly 140 staff on the ground distributing water packets, food and more aid in Haiti right now. Based on preliminary estimates, CARE has established the Haiti Emergency Response Fund, with a goal of raising $10 million to support our multi-year response to provide immediate relief and longer-term rehabilitation. Your gift will help us address the needs of the survivors of this unprecedented disaster. Donate today to help in the relief effort. Your gift will help save lives." Please do your part to support d**e hip hop from the Midwest, particularly Wisconsin, and at the same time help the Haitian people in their time of need... And thank you for the purchase and for caring! Peace, Love, & Bubble Gum Phatbrim
