I live in the peaceful mountain village of Idyllwild, California - pop. 3,300, 6000 feet in the pine forest. What a wonderful place to compose music! These are musical visions of my favorite places and things in my Forest Home. The music ranges from quiet, peaceful, flowing music to full orchestral visions of the majesty of the mountains, the forest, the lakes. The insert inside includes a photo of each of the 8 places in Idyllwild that inspired the music - mountains, meadows, creeks, snow, stars. The last piece, "Star Bathing" says: You know how you can "sun bathe?" I also like to "star bathe." It's late at night here in Idyllwild and really clear and dark. The light from the stars bathes you - the universe going deep inside you!
