DuJuan Elliott grew up singing gospel quartet with his family out of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He belongs to a well-known group of gospel artists, The Beard Family, who have toured across America. He played a major role in getting him and his two brothers to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where they sang as backup vocalists for Prince from 1999-2005. DuJuan later started his own production company, Exit 74 Studios, in Nyack, New York. In addition to his career as a vocalist, DuJuan's experience includes audio engineering, including setting up live sound and studio recording. This has taken him all over the country and allowed him the opportunity to set up sound for some of the greatest professional bands in all genres of music. DuJuan has been involved in setting up sound for major companies like Guitar Center, including grand openings across the nation. DuJuan Elliott's music is a mixture of Pop, Soul, R&B, Rock, Funk and everything in between. His influences range from Michael Jackson, George Michael, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Coldplay, and of course, Prince, to The Gospel Keynotes and The Canton Spirituals.
