Emily Lubitz is the lead singer of the roots/indie band Tin Pan Orange and she performs on Fallen Dreams with her brother Jesse. In 2012, Emily provided the vocals for Dumb Ways to Die, a public service announcement campaign by Metro Trains Melbourne that quickly became a viral internet hit. Following a successful career as a session guitarist and music producer Thomas has quickly made a name for himself as a film composer both in Australia and overseas. With a keen understanding of style and genre, his strength lies in effortlessly connecting music to storytelling, weaving the thread of the narrative into his compositions and drawing the audience into the world of the film. His latest feature film score is for the crime thriller 'The Reckoning'. Directed by John V. Soto the film stars Jonathan LaPaglia, Luke Hemsworth and Viva Bianca and is scheduled for release in 2014.  Thomas has been nominated for Best Original Song Composed For Screen at this years APRA-AGSC Screen Music Awards and his score to the US supernatural thriller 'Key' was nominated for Best Feature Length Original Score at the 2012 Washington D.C World Music and Independent Film Festival. Thomas has scored a number of award winning short films that have featured in in film festivals around the world including Melbourne International Film Festival, Flickerfest, Ireland International Film Festival and Palm Springs International Shortfest. Thomas was nominated for Best Music at the 48 Hour Film Project and his music was used in the Malaysian documentary ‘The Rights of the Dead’ winner of the Freedom Film Fest. He is also busy applying his cinematic sound to the video game world having signed on to compose for the action console game developer Figurehead Studios. Thomas studied composition at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music under Stuart Greenbaum and Screen Music at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School under Martin Armiger, graduating with distinction from both courses. In 2011 he was invited to participate in the prestigious NYU/ASCAP Film Scoring workshop in the memory of Buddy Baker where he received mentoring from composers Sean Callary(Homeland, 24) Ira Newborn(Naked Gun, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective) and Mark Snow(The X-files, Smallville). Thomas has also worked with and been mentored by one of Australia’s finest film composers Bruce Rowland(Man from Snowy River, The Cup) assisting him on the Australian Outback Arena Show.
