A few years back while visiting in New York, I decided to put together a CD of some of what I felt were my best songs. I asked Pat Jones, a friend who has worked with the Isley Brothers and Whitney Houston to play lead and rhythm guitar on the tracks that I had started because I knew he would add some great parts. He is the best original lead player who really added to songs like I Don't Want To lose This one and also jammed well against my Guitar. The CD just moves. An people are picking up on it now all across the world on internet Radio. It's by far the best work I have done and the songs can match what's out there. Give the songs a listen you'll be impressed . I hope you seek the songs out especially. Especially songs like Missing You that impressed the people at Nashville Songwriters. I also added Bill Schallert on bass and Tim Barnhart on drums, long time friends from New York who just locked the rhythm section. You will not find a better quality album with the songs and playing. When I came back to Texas I met the great vocalist Christy Hathcock, originally from Nashville and instantly knew that she was the best vocalist to deliver the set of powerful songs and tracks we had recorded in New York. I had looked for years to find the right vocalist and Christy is the real deal. I love what she did with these tracks. We recorded Christy's vocals and mixed the final tracks at Southwind Studios here in Austin, Texas.
