This Side of the Mountain was written and recorded by Anikka Lachman (violin, vocals), Thomas Masters (guitars, vocals, synths) and Adrian Leverkuhn (synths, treatments) at Thomas Masters Gallery in Chicago. The album is heavily influenced by the life and work of Michael A. Weinstein (1942-2015), an American philosopher, and features one of Weinstein's songs.
