DJ BIGBOY (BIOGRAPHY) Onalerona MacDonald “DJ BigBoy” Dingoko, born and bred in Mahikeng on 28/01/1981 started his career in 1998. A year later (1999), Chris Motshabi (former radio Bop DJ) gave DJ BigBoy an opportunity to be a mix DJ on his show and that made him a Tuesday resident DJ on Khaya Cool’s show at the same radio station. Fast-forward 2002- 2003 he went on to be a resident DJ at one of the most élite hang out places in Tlhabane, Rustenburg. The radio bug in DJ BigBoy continued in 2006 where he was named afternoon drive DJ of the first community radio station at Mahikeng, Mahikeng FM. He went to Johannesburg in 2007- 2008 to pursue a mix DJ opportunity created for him at YFM by Thasman of Impact sounds and then went back to Mahikeng FM as an afternoon drive show presenter until 2010, from 2010-2011 he did Saturday breakfast show with Matome “Tomaeza” Ramohale at Mahikeng FM. 2012 is the year in which MotswedingFM recognized DJ BigBoy’s talent and called him to host the top 30 chart show, to date he is still with Motsweding FM but doing a Friday night HipHop show called “Motswedi wa HipHop”. The talented DJ BigBoy is releasing is debut album called “Motswak Relic” with Impact Sounds; he has been part of the impact sounds family since 2007.
