Rafael Arias is considered one of the greatest vituosos guitartists in Bolivia today. This CD contains an amazing selection of instrumentals on guitar from Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. Andean Guitar was produced by Eddy Navia and Sukay Records. Eddy was a founding member of the famous Bolivian group Savia Andina, with whom he recorded 35 albums. Savia Andina was a major force in bringing Andean music into the mainstream, hitting the Top 40 charts. Rafael and Gerardo Arias performed and toured with this group.
