简介
From Dayton, Ohio comes Taxxi Tai with his debut worldwide release of On Borrowed Time. With a rapid fire delivery and smooth melodic pacing along with catchy rhythm's and hooks. This album delivers all the punches a listener could ask for. With songs like, "I'm back", and "Stand up Wake up", You can feel the groove as he rhymes over dubstep, pop beats yet still has lyrical delivery that blends perfectly, in which not too many hip hop artists could pull off. He then shows his metal and rock side with, "Head Rush", and "Waiting", both of which Taxxi Tai performed the guitar's over. "Wish You Were Here", brings a ballad of a broken relationship that both ladies and gentlemen will appreciate. You can also hear stories of heartbreak and depression with the title track, "On Borrowed Time", as well as, "Swan Song", which provides the finale to the album that almost brings a tear to the eye. Simply put there's no stone unturned with this project. Rock, Hip-hop, pop, covering all ranges of topics from heartache to lyrical dexterity and skill which he fully showcases on the epic song, "The Tai Breaker", which would remind you of Eminem's, "Rap God". Perhaps most impressive of all is that Taxxi Tai virtually doesn't utter a single foul word on the record. To keep it clean and still provide a punch is quite impressive. In today's music this album is definitely a breath of fresh air. Two thumbs up!
