This release is 'Melody' and the artist or should i say artist's are label owner and Soma artist Master-H and Francois Dubois. Master-H aka Hassen Gouaned has launched 'Komplex De Deep' as an outlet for not only his own productions, but also for material and artists that excite him and his floors. H began his production career with 1996 release 'U Gave Me Love' which picked up fans including Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez and Louie Vega. 1998 took him to the Miami Winter Music Conference, where his DJ skills caught the attention of Slam and the Soma Records team. Soma showed their faith by not only releasing the anthem 'Magic K', but also releasing H's 2003 debut album 'Thirteen'. Releases and remixes followed, including his 2006 releases ‘No Ordinary Day’ on Vega Records (Which featured Yuanist Woods, the vocalist on this release) and 'My Way To Heaven' on Laurent Garnier's FCOM label. Francois Dubois, is the alter ego of Lars Sandberg, also known as Funk D'Void. A massive DJ favourite and another member of the Soma family, Lar's productions have been mainstays for DJ's for a number of years. Having released hit after hit under his Funk'D'Void moniker and looking to release productions on a deeper tip, it was time to unveil Francois. 2001's 'Fembot' gave us our first insight into his deeper edge, but it wasn't until 2006's 'Blood' that hsi alias really made his mark. 2007's 'I Try' confirmed his greatness. Remixes for Om, Freerange and Urban Torque have followed. Back to today's release, Melody. The duo are a match made in heaven. Combining their techno talents, the pair have crafted wonderful productions. H delivers the sounds of old school Detroit and Chicago, woven together by the fantastic vocal of Yuanist Woods. This will find fans from the Soulful and Techno scenes and everyone between! The Francois Dubois chord mix is a perfect example of why his recent releases and mixes are so popular. Wonderful, modern, melodic, deep house, ready for the floor. Delicious in every way! Last but by no means least is Brazilian Jayleblone, also know as Aquabassino, who turns in a wonderful house re work. Traditional beats, that sound ultra hot next to Woods’s vocal. The purists will lap it up. A typically lush, melodic and excellent deep house mix from Francois Dubois, means Master-H has got his new label off to a remarkably good start.
