p.d. wohl is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, recording enginer, producer, and mixer originally from Brooklyn, New York. He now lives in Vancouver, BC. where he has his studio called wohl.of.sound. He has played guitar for over 30 years. The songs on "A Moment In Time" are mostly acoustic guitar based. They came from trying out various alternate guitar tunings like Open D, Open Dm, Open G. p.d. plays all the instruments and sings all the parts. He also recorded and arranged and mixed the who CD himself. You will hear sweet acoustic guitars, vocals, lap guitars, accordion, electric leads, lush harmonies, six string licks, and electric piano and organ and orchestral flourishes. There is live cello in a couple of songs by Tim Bartsch. In these zen-like personal journey story songs you can hear strains of folk, blues, country, pop/rock and mediterrian flavours. These songs are from the heart, with themes of love, forgiveness, connection, healing, searching, spirituality, fatherhood, and being in the moment. Enjoy the music.
