This CD is a mixture of jazz, classical, spiritual, gospel and even a bit of good ole Memphis Blues thrown in. All music was composed and arranged by Charles Pender. Charles is a classically trained pianist that started incorporating jazz into his musical arsenal as a college senior. The CD shows the influence of Memphis music on Charles and the other gifted musicians who performed on this project. From the straight ahead flavor of "CK's Chaos" to the intriguing bassoon of "The Encounter" the CD is full of stylistic surprises that you are sure to enjoy!!!
