Empro & Jozwiak are a busy pair, With Dj-sets worldwide and a discography full of releases demonstrate how busy they are. Both of them are deep-seated in Berlin's techno scene and their latest release "Pangaea´s Secret" EP includes 4 Tracks of this modern, intelligent electronic music. The lead track, is a collection of stunning sound design and clinical use of tone and texture in an amalgamation of loose drums, animalistic voices and uplifting overtones. Sven's production to be noted, that it´s all expertly put together to a level of quality not often reached. Andro & Dimit provide the first remix, familiar faces at No Dough and good friends. They take a few of the ideas of the orignal and expand them into a dub techno masterpiece, so deep yet so driving. Tonto´s remix of Pangaea´s Secret once again throws out the rulebook, slowing it down and bringing in an unforgettable synthesizer bassline, matched with a latin-esk chunky groove. The show comes to an end with the equally potent ´No Mirror´, leaving no room for those rather weaker B sides we continually see of late. Empro & Jozwiak have sculpted a classy EP, and a thoroughly good slice of music.
