I am ThaRule and I make what I love, just music. Career: In 2002, he made his first appearance in the old clubs of Ribeira in Porto (Portugal) at only 16 years of age. Since then, the pleasure of deejaying grew and never stopped. In 2004, he created his first original entitled "In the Glory of The Box" an electro version of the famous song "Glory Box" from English band Portishead, conducted with the participation of the producer Arcmak. In 2005, he made his first deejaying performance abroad, in neighbouring Spain. In one of the hottest clubs that attracts huge Portuguese audiences, the Queen's Club in Vigo, going back there for several times in 2006. 2006 was a great year professionally, becoming resident deejay in several clubs such as D'Ouro Club and Pharmag. 2007 brought new and positive changes to the portuguese DJ/producer, devoting his time to developing and improving his skills as a producer, playing sporadically in private parties and gigs. 2012 was his major return to the spotlight, performing in houses like Porto Villa Club, Auditório Club, Boulevard Club, D'Ouro Club, Anima-te Porto, Secrets Coffee, among many others. Determined to further develop his career and take it to the next level, in September 2012, he moves to the UK to get his degree in Music Production and Artist Development, at the Bath SPA University and City of Bath College, in the World Heritage City of Bath. ''Have the opportunity to study in this great institution was one of the most gratifying thing that ever happen in my life! Mark Smithers was great and the Bath City College and Bath SPA University welcome me with open arms!, I am almost 2000 miles away from home, however I feel like I am home here, just love it!'' In 2013 the producer creates the event company Mar Productions UK, to promote Independent Artists create and manage events across England. In December 2013, ThaRule released his first EP, "Beats Per Minute", with 3 tracks: "The Dark Side", "House of Dreams" and "Bristol Warrior", recorded at BA1 Records in Bath Tempa and Mar Recordings. The EP was released in the producer's website for free download until put for sale, in February 2014. In the year of 2014, Paulo Frazão and Tim Wright began producing audio equipment by the name of TRL Signature, Luxury Racks for audio equipments, general components and equipments. In the same year, ThaRule released his first portfolio in music production and special effects for TV, cinema, web design, radio, etc., which can be viewed in the website of the producer and in his Youtube channel. May 2014 an second EP is released entitle Electric Sunset, with 4 tracks: ''Electrify ME!'', ''Deep thoughts'', ''Sunset'' and ''Electrify ME! - [Extended Version]''. In 2015 the musician releases the EP - “Dreams” featuring the artist Mali Bone with the single Dreams. Chill Out single, way different from everything else he ever made, however it is a track full of passion and energy. “...It makes you dream while your awake, I can only expect great thing about it!” The EP also features the tracks Tribal Revolution and the cover Roads from the band Portishead. ''...Roads was a great challenge, I don't regret any minute from the many hours spend on this track, Adrian Utley is a great producer and be able to reproduce this track was incredible!''
