The 52nd Street is an Australian (Sydney) based trio with an interesting take on pop and folk and everything in between. The line up comprises of Singer/Guitarist Addy Kamil, Guitarist Stephan Stap and Keyboardist Sebastian Indra. The project formed in 2013. Addy and Stephan have both worked in a number of other projects around Sydney and have a history dating back to medieval times, but this is the first time they have joined forces. The name “Fifty Second” comes from a share house Addy used to live in, which was also served as rehearsal space and a space where numerous teas were consumed. After working on some ideas, Addy and Stephan realised they needed more than two guitars and Sebastian joined as the missing puzzle piece. Their first musical endeavour is the single Chance, and song If Only.
