Several of the works on this album evoke the energy of the French equivalent of childrens' games such as "tag" and "hide-'n-seek." Other influences such as European jazz and his own experiments in the field of electro-acoustic music are also prevalent. Vérin has studied with composer Pierre Schaeffer and collaborated with composer Pierre Henry, the two significant historical figures of the famous musique concrète movement.
